Brianna Perry Pens Letter to Hip Hop

Brianna Perry’s “Dear Hip Hop” video stars upcoming artist Brianna Perry rapping over a sample of Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” expressing her frustration with the Hip Hop Industry while watching MTVS “Hottest MCS in the Game”. If that wasn’t enough she’s burning a copy of the infamous XXL Freshman Issue putting her all into her music while the mic bleeds. She offers lovely word play and just oozes passion. What do you think of the track? The second part is her rapping over a Drake track & I like that one too. There seems to be a lot of hungry female rappers lately.

I don't know much about Kanary Diamonds besides the fact that she seems like a sweet heart (I recently tweeted that I loved her music; didn't mention her or anything but she found it and retweeted it). She has this swag (I hate that word) that can't be denied. I listened to a few of her songs & "Sex Tape" was by far one of my favorites. Have you heard of her? Recently she strayed away from her usual covers on her Youtube channel and is working on her EP "I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU NOT". With a voice like hers, I'm pretty sure there's much in store for her. Dysfunctional Friends will be released February 3rd in Limited Theaters. This movie stars the likes of Stacey Dash, Wesley Johnathon, Jason Weaver, Reagan Gomez Preston, Essence Atkins and so much more. The movie written and directed by Cory Grant and looks to be very entertaining. Will you be looking out for this? Its definitely refreshing to see new hungry black directors out there. If you don't know who Neon Hitch is you will soon. Her covers of Kreayshawn, Wiz Khalifa, and Mac Miller has made her a sensation. Now Neon Hitch is readying her first single from her debut album Beg, Borrow and  Steal. Check out some stills from her new video "Fuck You Better".

Laze and Royal are not only best friends they're twin brothers who have been in the music industry for quite some time. The two have overcame obstacles early in their lives. From their mother's struggle with cancer to just getting by, they've been there. These two are extraordinary artists who have a different sound. It's not the same sound every song and they have themselves to thank for that. These two are not only rappers they are producers how have produced music for hot artists from pop star Ke$ha, Cherish, and even Neyo. These two are unstoppable and have been behind the scenes for about five years. 

With an album and a few mixtapes (Hollywood Made Me Do It, When Worlds Collide Part 1 & 2)  under their belts, these two are ready for the spotlight. They are working on they're newest project "Sex, Lies, and Hollywood" which should be out soon but to hold us over they've realeased a new video for one of their latest tracks "Kings & Queens". 





It's definitely a hawt track. I love it.  From the style to the lyrics to their risky choices when they choose samples. These two are here to stay for quite a while. What do you think?
