Ashanti Talks Reconciling with Ja Rule

 Songwriter and singer Ashanti recently sat down with “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show" where she spoke on various topics from her new entertainment label to her new single. Interestingly enough she spoke on her relationship with former label mate and close friend Ja Rule.

We had a three-and-a-half hour conversation and we just hashed out years and years and years of stuff. That’s my brother. I love him and I hope he’s doing well. I think he’s in good spirits. We’ve all been through a lot. We’ve all grown. We’ve all learned. We were all young starting out in the industry. We hashed out a lot of stuff and we needed that.”
