| Jojo captures a more raw sound for her new mixtape. |
19 year old song bird Jojo has had a few past problems with her label giving her the freedom that she wants. Finally she's stepping back up in the spotlight with the release of her new mixtape titled "Can't Take That Away From Me" which serves as a prequel to her third studio album "All I Want Is Everything". I'm still a big fan of Jojo and her first album still stays in rotation. She spoke to "Rap Up" magazine about her mixtape and we're to expect a more experimental Jojo.
“I was able to do some things that were more soulful, incorporate live instruments, and say things that I wouldn’t normally say on an album. I was just able to take more of a risk. It is all over the place, just like me.” She tells Rap Up Magazine. Look out for her mixtape September 7th.
